Events Travel Asia appoints Max Jantasuwan as Group Managing Director

With over 14 years of experience in events and hospitality, Max Jantasuwan is now the Group Managing Director of Events Travel Asia.

In his new role, Jantasuwan will lead the brand and service quality of the leading destination and event management company, Events Travel Asia, through the setting up of new offices in Hong Kong and Singapore.  The expansion is part of the company’s strategic plan to gain greater market share.

“The opening of our Hong Kong and Singapore offices were earlier than expected and it is with thanks to the market demand and unceasing support of our clients, associates and industry colleagues that motivated us to take this bold step just after 18 months of starting Events Travel Asia,” said Jantasuwan.

Despite Thailand’s political situation causing an adverse impact on the MICE industry earlier this year, Events Travel Asia has become more creative in its offering. The team took time to focus on training, increased the level of service and started sourcing for business outside Thailand.  As a result, Jantasuwan and his team over the past few months have been servicing clients such as Herbalife’s 6,500-delegate strong event in Macau in September 2014 and recently an 80-delegate Golf tournament event in Taiwan in October 2014, above the 90 groups totalling to more than 9,000 pax that the ETA team managed in Thailand in 2014.

Jantasuwan will be spending his time travelling between the Thailand head office, Hong Kong and Singapore offices.  Jantasuwan said: “With the new offices, my team and I can spend more time and building a stronger rapport with our Hong Kong and Singapore based clients.”
