New website GoPal (www.gopal.travel) meets this need by matching like-minded travellers using criteria such as gender, age, interests and destination. The brainchild of avid traveller Bruce Southerden, GoPal launched in December and already has hundreds of members from all over the world.

GoPal isn’t a dating site, says Southerden, based in northern NSW, “and it’s not just about saving money or sidestepping single supplements.

Our mission is to help people realise their dreams, live fuller lives and be healthier and more active.”
