Grand Nikko Bali is delighted to announce the reopening of its newly refurbished Paon Bali Resto and Bar. Previously known as Paon Bali and Oolooloos Bar, this dining venue closed its doors in February 2016 to undergo an extensive refurbishment and is scheduled to unveil its new look on May 3rd, 2016.
The new look Paon Bali Resto & Bar has been artistically redecorated to embrace the island’s creative heritage. It features an open kitchen concept that provides guests with an opportunity to watch our chefs in action as they prepare traditional Balinese cuisine to perfection.
The restaurant’s interior presents a vintage Balinese style that makes for an exciting dining experience completed by a bar and relaxing lounge area featuring pool tables. The overall concept of the restaurant blends harmoniously with a lush garden and sweeping ocean views that can be enjoyed from the extended terrace setting. The authentic warmth service delivery is also presented with a wholehearted passion for preserving the island’s legacy.
To vividly evoke the Balinese bygone era, a sepia-hued display of three fictionalized characters in a traditional Balinese life scene adds exotic touch to the restaurant’s interior scheme. Those characters who strongly represent island’s natives namely Pan Kaler, Pan Tarma and Men Pulu, seen as having cooking activity in the Paon-a traditional Balinese kitchen that features a wood-fired stove and some hand-harvested crops.
Paon Bali Resto & Bar has revamped its menu to serve a wider selection of authentic Balinese cuisine for lunch and dinner. There’s also a delicious variety of finger foods in the form of Balinese Tapas that can be paired with refreshing drinks.
Located at the resort’s lower lobby, Paon Bali Resto & Bar is open daily for lunch from 12.00 pm – 6.00 pm, dinner from 6.00pm – 10.00pm and supper from 10.00pm – 01.00am.
