In June 2020, Ecruising invites travellers on an intimate, eleven-night Alaskan adventure with ten nights aboard the ultra luxurious Silver Muse. Redefining ocean travel, the Alaskan Wonderland itinerary will see passengers cruising a curated path from Vancouver to Seward, while taking in the breathtaking sights of Alaska along the way.

Arriving in Vancouver on 26 May, travellers will spend two nights at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. Exploring the city at their leisure, over the two days travellers can uncover its unique juxtaposition of urban sophistication and right-on-your-doorstep wilderness.

Departing on the 28 May, the Silver Muse will set sail from the port of Vancouver for a seven-night journey around the Gulf of Alaska. A must-see for any sailing aficionado, on 29 May the ship will cruise through the Inside Passage, renowned for its dramatic beauty. Home to tiny isolated communities located in shoreside villages, seals can be spotted basking on ice floes, while the thunderous snap of massive glaciers can be heard breaking in the distance.

Famous for its colourful totem poles, rainy skies and lush island setting, Ketchikan is next. With magnificent waterfalls, mountains and wildlife, travellers will have a full day to explore the island. On 31 May, travellers will arrive in Alaska’s remote capital city Juneau, accessible only by boat or seaplane. Alaska’s third largest city, Juneau boasts hiking trails, picture perfect wildflowers, vibrant colours and natural beauty – every photographer’s dream come true.

On 1 June, the Silver Muse will dock in Skagway, home to the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Guests will feel as though they have been transported to another time as they explore the charming surrounds of the Gold Rush era town. With sweeping mountain views, spectacular lakes and forests, North-country folk call this route the Golden Horseshoe.

For the final day in Alaska, on 2 June guests will spend the day exploring the captivating town of Sitka. With pristine landscapes and abounding natural splendour, the town also has a rich history and vibrant local culture. Sitka boasts 24 attractions listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the famous Baranof Castle Site, which exemplifies the fascinating legacy left by the town’s historical Russian influence.

On 3 June guests will cruise through the Hubbard Glacier, off the coast of Yakutat. A chance to witness the ethereal sights and sounds of North America’s largest glacier ‘carving’, this will prove to be an experience unlike any other.

On 4 June, the Silver Muse will dock for the final time in the enchanting port city of Seward (Anchorage). Surrounded on all sides by Kenai Fjords National Park, Chugach National Forest, and Resurrection Bay, Seward offers all the quaint realities of a small railroad town with the bonus of jaw-dropping scenery. The itinerary will conclude with a final two-night stay at the Hilton Anchorage.
