  1. The Land of the Northern Lights – witnessing the colourful swathes of the Northern Lights in Iceland as they electrify the night sky.
  2. Geminids Meteor Shower camel trekking through the Moroccan Sahara Desert to watch the Geminids Meteor Shower and bed down beneath a blanket of stars.
  3. Perseids Meteor Shower camp in the lunar like landscape of The Valley of the Moon at Wadi Rum in Jordan to experience a specular meteor show.

The jewel in the crown is the Northern Lights, best seen in Iceland during the winter months where the night sky is transformed into an ethereal display of multi coloured lights. Departing from October to early April, when the Northern Lights are at their best, the Land of the Northern Lights tour begins in Iceland’s bustling capital Reykjavik, before driving down to remote Hella for the best chance to see the famed Northern Lights.

The tour ends with a day at the Golden Circle exploring the Geysir geothermal fields, Gulfoss waterfall, Strokkur geyser and the UNESCO World Heritage Site; Thingvellir National Park before returning to Reykjavik. This five day tour starts from $1,199 AUD per person and is valid for travel between 04 October 2016 – 13 April 2017.

Combining culture and cosmology on a 15 day tour of Morocco, the Geminids Meteor Shower tour takes explorers camel trekking in the Sahara for an unforgettable night of stargazing during the Geminids Meteor Shower. Arriving in Morocco on 03 December, the meteor shower can be seen between the 4 and 17 December providing plenty of opportunities for travellers to experience this natural wonder. The waxing crescent moon will set in the early evening, leaving dark skies for the Geminids Meteor Shower.


This tour also includes visits to a number of Morocco’s historical sites – wandering through the labyrinthine of souks in Fes and Marrakech, exploring legendary Casablanca and relaxing by the Atlantic coast in Essaouira.  This 15 day tour starts from $2,229 AUD per person departing on 03 December 2016.

The Perseids Meteor Shower tour takes place in Jordan over an eight day period in August and provides travellers with an opportunity to experience the spectacular meteor show, while staying at the Rainbow Camp in Wadi Rum – known as The Valley of the Moon due to its lunar-like landscape. With its peak period

from the 11 to the 13 August, stargazers will observe the mesmerising meteor shower on the 11 August when over 60 meteors are calculated to rain down every hour. Due to its secluded location and virtually no light pollution, it’s the perfect place to enjoy this annual event.


While in Wadi Rum there will be an opportunity to explore the vast desert landscape of ancient riverbeds by jeep, and follow in the footsteps of the Bedouins during a camel ride. The tour also includes a visit to the rose city of Petra, the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, the Graeco-Roman city of Jerash, the single most important biblical site in Jordan – Mount Nebo, and more. This eight day tour starts from $2,399 AUD per person departing on 07 August 2016 or 09 August 2017.
