Experience one of Australia’s finest wineries and a taste of the Margaret River region here in Brisbane, as Story Bridge Hotel hosts its Vasse Felix Wine Luncheon.
Join Vasse Felix chief winemaker and Gourmet Traveller Winemaker of the Year, Virginia Wilcox, from 12.00pm on Wednesday 3 June. For $95 per person, Virginia will take guests through the stories and tasting notes behind the wines as they indulge in a four-course lunch to match.
Executive Chef Matthew Fosker has created a delicious, seasonally-inspired menu to complement the wines. Begin with Trout Rillettes w/ crème fraiche, fennel, lemon, dill & homemade soda bread; followed by Ham Hock Terrine w/ spiced fruit gel, celeriac & mustard remoulade. Then enjoy the delectable 12-hour slow cooked beef cheek; and finish with Caramelised pears w/ Roquefort cheese, candied walnuts, dandelions & wild flower honey.
With Story Bridge Hotel’s emphasis on fresh and top-quality produce, locally sourced wherever possible, guests are ensured the best possible food and wine experience.
