Luxury accommodation, gourmet dining and exclusive Signature Experiences all feature heavily throughout APT’s newly launched all-inclusive escorted touring program to Tasmania.

The carefully tailored program comprises five itineraries ranging from four to 12 days in length. Two combine east and west Tasmania, one showcases the east coast and two take central and west routes.

Guests travel in tour groups of no more than 40 people aboard luxury air conditioned coaches, all with reclining seats and onboard unnamed (6)bathroom. Accommodation includes some of the Island’s finest hotels and lodges, including the award-winning Freycinet Lodge and Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge. APT’s new touring program also offers an exclusive stay at Strahan Village, where guests are guaranteed harbour view deluxe rooms.

The Tasmanian table is a prevalent theme throughout with APT guests enjoying an exclusive Tasmanian Fare dinner in the seaside town of Smithton and those staying at Freycinet Lodge enjoy a gourmet BBQ feature dinner. Also included are dining experiences at View 42° Restaurant & Bar in Strahan and the Ashgrove Cheese Factory.

APT’s Signature Experiences for the new 2014/15 season, which runs from September to May, include year-round visits to the Bridestowe Lavendar Farm (including during the December to January flowering season), the chance to see APT’s own Tasmanian Devil at Natureworld, a Gordon River cruise and Cradle Mountain.
