The Export 33 Banked Slalom – Including NZ$1000 cash for fastest male and $1000 cash for the fastest female

The South Island’s largest skiable area Treble Cone (Wanaka, NZ) is introducing the Export 33 Banked Slalom snowboard event in 2013 which is scheduled to be held on Saturday 17th of August 2013.

‘Having Export 33 come on board to support this event has allowed us to significantly increase the prize pool, which is now NZ$1000 cash on the nose for each of the fastest male and fastest female.’

The event prize pool will also include the opportunity to win a premium Never Summer snowboard and there’ll be a range of Never Summer snowboard merchandise to give away also.

Entry into the Export 33 Banked Slalom is open to all snowboarders over the age of 18 which will make this event one of the highest prize money public entry snowboard events in NZ. The number of entries accepted is capped to ensure a professional event is delivered for all participants.

The format of the Export 33 Banked Slalom will be held in the Gun Barrel at Treble Cone, or on similar terrain subject to the best conditions on the day, and all entrants will be offered course inspection, followed by two timed runs with their fastest entered as their final result.

Presentations including the hand-over of the NZ$1000 cheques to the fastest male and fastest female, plus announcing the winner of the Never Summer snowboard and drawing spot prizes will be held on the Plaza at Treble Cone in the afternoon of the event.

The entry fee for the Export 33 Banked Slalom will be NZ$40, and a discounted event lift pass will be offered to all participants who don’t already hold a current Treble Cone lift pass.

More information and entry will be available online at www.treblecone.com
