Exquisite American Wagyu Beef Lands at Morton’s of Chicago

Morton’s of Chicago Singapore is set to tantalize the taste buds of all steak lovers with the introduction of the American Wagyu steak as part of the steakhouse’s new seasonal features, available for a limited time only.

The melt-in-the-mouth8oz American Wagyu New York Strip(SGD$95) is the ultimate in quality. The exquisite beef is sourced from Snake River Farms, a ranch in the Northwest of the US known for its production of award-winning American Wagyu beef. Snake River Farms take great pride in producing high-quality Wagyu beef which is rich in buttery texture, complex flavours with a subtle sweetness and a lingering finish. Additionally, back by popular demand, is the succulentBone-in Filet Mignon 14oz(SGD$122) – rich in flavour and texture.

For guests that would like a light and leafy accompaniment to the delectable steak additions, the refreshing Hearts of Palm Salad(SGD$24) – is a perfect pairing. This is a delicate combination of fresh palm tossed with baby arugula and sliced mango in a home-made honey poppy-seed dressing, finished with slivers of toasted almonds and topped with chunks of watermelon for a refreshing snap.

Be tempted by Morton’s new appetizer;Grilled Oysters with Garlic Herb Butter(SGD$49) – six fresh oysters topped with herbed garlic butter, which are broiled until golden brown and served over rock salt. Perfect for sharing and also a complement to the existing oyster dishes on the menu.

A signature fish dish joins the seasonal menu, a Mediterranean-inspired choice of main with a classic U.S fish, in the form of the Olive Crusted Alaska Halibut (SGD$80). A nicely poised 8oz Alaska Halibut fillet that is pan-seared to perfection and topped with a Kalamata olive crust. The sweet and tangy fish is served over wilted spinach with homemade garlic Beurre Blanc Sauce.

A decadent and slightly naughty dessert rounds-off Morton’s new seasonal menu. TheBlueberry White Chocolate Bread Pudding(SGD$35) is a homemade bread pudding with garden fresh blueberries and white chocolate chips. The pudding is drizzled with bourbon white chocolate ganache and complimented perfectly with a generous scoop of Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice-cream.

To accompany the new additions to the à la carte offering, diners can take advantage of the restaurant’s impressive wine selection, showcasing over 200 International labels.
