Fashion Show and Grand Canal Shoppes Boast Combined 37 2016 Openings and New Front Door for Fashion Show
Fashion Show and Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo, two retail destinations on the famed Las Vegas Strip that together encompass 3 million square feet and boast 350+ combined stores, nine department stores and nearly 40 dining options, have plans to add another 37 new or expanded stores and restaurants this year.
At Fashion Show, 2015 finished strong with new leases, relocations and expansions totaling over 208,000 square feet. The retail power-house and the city’s largest retail destination opened 30 stores in 2015. This year is off to a strong start with another 24 new stores, expansions and relocations planned to open this year encompassing over 58,000 square feet. Standout additions include Tadashi Shoji; New Balance; Under Armour, offers products designed to make all athletes better, including the latest styles in innovative footwear, apparel and equipment for men, women, and youth globally; The Shark Daymond John Store, a limited pop-up and first-of-its-kind; ALEX AND ANI, Beach Bunny, Sephora and UGG.
Anchored by Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Macy’s Men’s, Dillard’s, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Forever 21, the center offers something for every shopper at every price point. Fashion Show spans an impressive 2 million square feet with 250-plus boutiques and eight anchor department stores, including a few that are the only locations in Nevada: Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, both of which have been at Fashion Show since 1981 when the original center opened, bringing true fashion and haute couture to Las Vegas locals and tourists for more than 35 years.
Fashion Show opened an exciting new ‘front door’ facing Las Vegas Boulevard in late 2015. The redevelopment included a 30,000-square-foot flagship Zara and a 22,000-square-foot addition, as well as new full-service restaurants, including Kona Grill (now open), Sugar Factory and Benihana, both set to open later this year. The Plaza also houses several small free-standing shops including unique concepts likeDavidoff of Geneva Cigar Bar, Luke’s Lobster, Pressed Juicery, Wicked Pizza, Fabulous Freddy’s, Flip Flop Workshop and Sticks & Shakes.

Across the street at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo, the center will add the first west coast location of SUGARCANE raw bar grill, set to open later this year. This marks the James Beard Award nominated Miami eatery’s inaugural expansion, encompassing over 6,500 square feet on Restaurant Row. The center will also welcome the first-to-market opening of Mercato della Pesheria, an Italian seafood concept overseen by Miami-based V&E Restaurant Group. ROYCE’ Chocolate, the notable Japanese chocolate brand, is yet another first-to-market location for Grand Canal Shoppes along with Louis Vuitton, featuring the brands new store prototype and design based off the Atelier at Louis Vuitton Soho boutique in New York.
