Singapore-based interior design house FBEYE International is celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of the region’s leading independent hospitality design consultancies.Founded from humble beginnings in 2005 by Managing Director Warren Foster-Brown, the firm has grown into a multicultural design team headquartered in Singapore with a second Manila branch, delivering some of the most ground-breaking interior design projects in the region.
A stellar portfolio of hotel clients now includes leading hospitality brands such as Starwood, Intercontinental, Shangri-La and Four Seasons.
Beyond luxury hotels, bespoke design has extended to diverse arenas of hospitality including destination resorts, international airports, celebrity chef restaurants, signature spas, grand residences, casinos, and mega yachts. The firm’s geographical scope has also expanded well beyond South-East Asia to the Middle East and Europe.

FBEYE gained early prominence in Singapore with the stunning refurbishment of the Pan Pacific Singapore in 2005.
FBEYE’s design of the new Westin Singapore, opened early last year, won Best Hotel Design, Asia Pacific in the International Hotel and Property Awards (IHPA) 2014. FBEYE was theonly South-east Asian design agency honoured in the prestigious global awards.
“We were very excited to be involved in helping the iconic Westin brand make an impactful comeback to Singapore’s hospitality scene after more than 10 years away, interpreting the brand concept creatively,” said Mr Foster-Brown.
Design of the chic city retreat was so admired that the owners were offered a record amount to sell the property within weeks of opening.
Among many other prominent accolades, Mr Foster-Brownwas also honored as a ‘’Wave of the Future” designer in 2009 by the influential US magazine Hospitality Design.
Recent completions in the region have also included three international resorts in Bali – Le Meridien Jimbaran, Sheraton Kuta and Westin Nusa Dua. The firm is also about to complete Le Meridien Dhaka in Bangladesh which opens on June 1.
Prominent international projects reflecting FBEYE’s global reach, capability and diversity have meanwhile extended to the Maldives (Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru), Switzerland (Victoria JungFrau Grand Hotel & Spa, Interlaken), London (grand private residence), BICC Bali International Convention Centre) and India (Assonora Resort, Goa, FBEYE’s 6th property with this client).

The firm is especially active in the Philippines, responding with the opening of a regional branch to design Diamond Hotel, Manila; Makati Diamond residences, Westin Manila Bayshore, Westin Sonata and Private Residences, Savoy Hotel, Boracay; and Philippine Airlines’ First and Business class lounge, Nino Aquino International Airport.
In Singapore, FBEYE is currently commissioned for a multi-million dollar renovation of the Intercontinental Singapore, a new Park Hotel Farrer Square and designing new guestrooms and suites for the iconic Fullerton.
Having recently been commissioned for the first Amari hotel in Malaysia, Amari Johor Bahru, the firm is also currently designing Starwood Hotels and Resorts’ first hotel in Myanmar, the Sheraton Yangon
A graduate of London’s prestigious Brunel University, Mr Foster-Brownhas meanwhile just completed the interiors for his own stylish residence on Singapore’s East Coast and is working on his summer home in France.
