FCM Travel Solutions, the global flagship corporate brand of the Flight Centre Travel Group, today unveiled SmartFARE, an airfare price tracking and reporting solution powered by Yapta’s FareIQ. Available as part of its SmartSUITE of products, SmartFARE is an innovative price tracking program that identifies airfare savings opportunities, and provides companies with powerful insights into their travel spend.
The SmartFARE technology integrates seamlessly with agents’ workflow by dynamically monitoring pricing on itineraries placed on a queue by FCM agents. Upon a recognized savings opportunity, SmartFARE immediately issues a series of messages, including email alerts, a web portal notification, and remarks posted directly in the itinerary record, that enables those savings to be acted upon by an agent.

Companies utilizing Yapta’s FareIQ price tracking technology are seeing an opportunity to save on more than 11 percent of their overall itineraries, with an average identified savings of $260 per ticket. Any savings identified by FareIQ on behalf of its customers are over and above any airline imposed change fees and agency re-booking fees, ensuring customers see true value to their bottom line.
