Feliz Navidad At Ham & Sherry

unnamed (1)Celebrate the festive season in flamboyant style as the Spaniards do at Ham & Sherry, Wan Chai’s neighbourhood Spanish bodega by Yenn Wong and Chef Jason Atherton.

Spanish food lovers gather with friends to enjoy a mouth-watering festive ‘Feasting Table’ from 1st to the 25th of December. Guests are taken on a culinary journey showcasing a taste of Spain; prepare to be topped up for a merry affair with Cava on arrival and jugs of red sangria on the table. Guests start with Para Picar of small sharing sized dishes which include Padron peppers, a Board of Spanish cured meats, Gambas with chili and garlic and Salt cod with red peppers. Dishes to follow serve up a generous selection of Ham & Sherry’s signature authentic dishes and specially created festive specials including Whole suckling pig, peppers, pineappleand Whole sea bass, lemon, olive oil, parsley. Finish it all off with a Spanish cheeseboard, quince jelly and Chocolate mousse, clementine. The “Feasting Table,” which seats up to 12 people, costs HKD10,000.

For those wishing to continue the party, head to the infamous Back Bar behind Ham & Sherry for a taste of Bar Manager Ryan Nightingale’s creative concoctions.  Along with his signature cocktails such as Sake Kid and Crank it to TEN, Ryan will be serving up a specially crafted festive cocktail, Naughty or Nice?, made with Grand Marnier, ‘Gingerbread’ beer, orange zest and fresh nutmeg.

Ring in 2016 with Ham & Sherry’s New Year’s Eve ‘Countdown party’ and partake in the Spanish tradition of wearing something ‘red’. Drinks will be flowing all night, and Ryan’s delicious cocktails are perfect for a midnight toast!

This December, for whatever you are celebrating, Ham & Sherry’s vibrant atmosphere and rustic Spanish menu makes for a sociable and lively festive evening!
