Festival Kreol gives Seychelles Minister his first experience on Pure Fm

Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture had his first experience on the new Pure FM, Seychelles’ first private radio station.

INTERVIEW WITH PURE FMMinister Alain St Ange was welcomed by Sandra Hanks, the host of theTourism program “Sands in Seychelles” aired lived in the Seychelles Islands between 9 to 11 am and broadcasted via internet on purefm.sc.

Sandra Hanks Pure Fm presenter uses “Sands in Seychelles” program to raise the profile of Seychelles as a tourism destination . Alain St.Ange, the Minister for Tourism and Culture was therefore the perfect candidate to promote Seychelles on Sandra Hanks tourism program. Presenting Minister St.Ange on Pure FM Sandra Hanks described him as was quoted in one of the recent CNN article a “natural phenomenon”. Minister St.Ange used the live interview to mark the Seychelles as an event based destination. He spent time to propel the concept behind the Seychelles Festival Kreol. The Minister said on air that Seychelles prides itself as being the Creole Capital of the World.

He also detailed the program of Festival Kreol 2013 which this year will see emphasis being put on mass participation by the people of Seychelles and anyone proud to be a Creole.

Pure Fm, the only private Radio Station of Seychelles is this year covering its first Festival Kreol . The radio station had said that they will stand behind the Festival Kreol committee to increase the visibility of the event.
