The Christmas and New Year celebrations, from December 23, 2015 to January 3, 2016, include a vast array of activities and events to ensure a memorable stay. The traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony – look for glimmering Six Senses Christmas trees in the restaurants and special Christmas lights throughout the resorts.
In addition to the traditional and always popular Christmas Eve Dinner, the resort will offer a Christmas Lunch on December 25. The holiday menu will include local seafood, freshly caught reef fish and salads from the resort’s own organic garden and be held in the glass floored Dining Room.
DJ Bass will be behind the turntables at The Den as he hosts the annual Christmas Eve Party. Leading the New Year countdown he will bid farewell to the old year and welcome a promising 2016 at Mai Thai Beach, inviting all guests to dance late into the night.
The resort offers the perfect location for relaxation and tranquillity and for those guests who are looking to balance the festive celebrations with a rejuvenating approach; Six Senses Spa experts have made an exclusive selection of wellness and fitness activities. Those are added to the extensive and comprehensive range of award-winning signature treatments. Complementing traditional offerings like yoga classes, tai chi and Pilates, spa guests can reach new heights with Six Senses aerial yoga, aerial fitness, aerial pilates and aerial meditation sessions.
Visiting Practitioner Sommai and Roma Singh will be available at Six Senses Spa throughout the festive period. Sommai is from northern Thailand and specializes in Himalayan singing bowl treatment and traditional tok sen pain relieving massage. Roma Singh is from India and is a respected clinical hypnotherapist and healer who has been practicing for 20 years.
The stunning surroundings of the resort provide the opportunity to participate in memorable and exciting experiences on sea as well on land. The calm and clear waters surrounding the numerous islands of the Andaman archipelago provides an ideal setting for exciting boat trips, snorkelling and scuba diving.
The resort has partnered with an exclusive yacht charter company to provide guests with aquaticadventures into the mesmerizing marine world. Being on board of one of the luxurious yachts cruising in the Andaman Sea provides endless opportunities to discover remote, idyllic islands escapes where the sand is pure white and the sunsets magical.
