Festive Season 2019-2020 at The Continent Hotel, Bangkok, located directly at Asoke, will be a feast for the senses. Christmas including pre-Christmas festivities are themed around the celebration of a Sparkling Christmas while New Year’s celebrations portray the theme “Modern Gatsby Party”.

At Medinii Italian Restaurant (35th Floor) from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Medinii Sparkling Christmas features a five-course tasting menu including Medinii Burrata Salad, Creamy Carrot & Tomato Soup, Lemon Sorbet and hotel executive chef’s famous Christmas Turkey. Select your main dish of Wagyu Beef Short Rib or Salmon Trofie Al Pesto and a grandstand dessert finish with Chocolate Soufflé with Vanilla Ice-cream. Enjoy live music from students of Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music. Price is THB 2,800 net/person.

At Bangkok Heightz (rooftop on 39th Floor) from 6:00p.m. – 10.00 p.m.: Enjoy a quiet and carefully curated 5 Course Thai Tasting Menu whilst overlooking the Bangkok Skyline. Start with a sharing selection of Deep Fried Shrimp Cake, Chicken Satay and Vegetable Spring Rolls followed by a selection of Tom Yum River Prawn (Lemongrass flavored spicy prawn soup) or Tom Kha Kai. Share famous main dishes of Grilled Australian Beef Rib Eye with tamarind and coriander sauce, Panang Salmon and Phad Normai Hed Hom and complete the meal with our enticing sweet Thai classic dessert Khao Niew Ma Moung (Mango with sticky rice). Price starts from THB 1,199++ (1,411 net)/person, THB 1,699++ (2,000 net)/person for a guaranteed window table, THB 2,199 ++ (2,589 net)/person in a semi private dining room.
