With less than five months to go until the return of the newest tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia, preparations are in full swing for the Fiji International 2015, with in 2014, the PGA of Australia focussing on establishing the foundations of the Fiji International, ensuring it had a strong platform to propel Fiji as a great golf destination to the world.
The 2015 Fiji International will again be played at Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course, located on Fiji’s Coral Coast, with Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course located less than an hour from Nadi International Airport on the main island of Viti Levu.
Natadola Bay blends world class golf architecture with dramatic landscapes from rolling pastures through to absolute beachfront, with the sparkling backdrop of coral reefs and the Pacific Ocean on 15 out of the 18 holes, with Natadola Bay a journey through stunning Fijian landscapes and the perfectly manicured and environmentally friendly seashore paspalum grass presenting the golfer with championship standard playing conditions all year round.
Fiji Airways has also signed on as the Official Airline of the Fiji International in a three-year sponsorship deal, http://www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au/fiji-airways-tees-off-sponsorship-of-fiji-international-golf-tournament/ which will take the professional golf tournament to new heights, with the new partnership between Fiji’s national airline and the Fiji International announced at the 2015 Fijian Tourism Expo.
