Blue Lagoon Cruises has this week launched its first ever dedicated, standalone romance brochure.

The brochure offers fully inclusive Wedding, Renewal of Vows and Honeymoon packages as well as group discounts.

Blue Lagoon Cruises Business Development Manager Wendy Fisher said the company’s boutique cruise ship ‘Fiji Princess’ was becoming an increasingly popular choice for groups of friends and families looking for fun but intimate options to host extended celebrations for special occasions.

“We offer 3, 4 or 7 night cruises through the spectacular Yasawa group of islands, north west of Fiji’s mainland, and this gives groups who are celebrating a special occasion a great opportunity to get away with their close friends and family for several days to stunning destinations to celebrate,” Ms Fisher said.

“With around one quarter of couples worldwide choosing a ‘destination’ wedding, this is a market that we have seen increase over the past three years both for Fiji overall, as well as for Blue Lagoon Cruises,” she said.

“We’ve also experienced significant increased honeymoon enquiries, which we saw as an opportunity to better market our inclusive honeymoon packages,”

“The cruise packages ensure that even the budget conscious honeymooning couple know their holiday won’t come with any hidden surprises or additional costs once onboard – our package includes their accommodation, meals, activities and entertainment – they can even enjoy complimentary Moet with breakfast!”

“Fiji has everything a couple could imagine as the perfect backdrop for a tropical wedding, honeymoon or special celebration, and our romance packages include everything a couple might need for a wedding, honeymoon or special celebration from the flowers to our crew taking pictures for them and providing on USB – all of which make planning a destination wedding, honeymoon or celebration really simple,”

“Ceremonies can be held on the ship, or at the company’s private island beach, Nanuya Lailai – the picture perfect postcard white sandy beach fringed by coral reefs and azure blue water,”

“We can cater for small to large groups, with the Bride and Groom cruising for free if 20 friends and family join them,”

“We do limit wedding or renewal of vows groups to one group per cruise departure, meaning the couple have exclusivity, and our other cruise guests are not unduly impacted,”

“Groups of up to 68 people can also exclusively charter the Fiji Princess to have complete privacy,”

“Our signature 100% Fijian crew thrive on happiness and they make sure they every moment of a celebratory cruise – from weddings and honeymoons down to birthdays and wedding anniversaries – are enjoyable and memorable for our guests,”

Agents can access the brochure by contacting their local Sales Executive (see listings below), or emailing

Rates are accessible through your preferred wholesaler or on the Blue Lagoon Cruises website.

Agents unfamiliar with Blue Lagoon Cruises can complete our online accreditation program to learn more about our cruises, our romance packages and to access agent travel discounts.

Cruising with Blue Lagoon Cruises on their small, intimate ship ‘Fiji Princess’ (sleeping maximum 68 guests) is the perfect way to discover the romantic magic of Fiji.

The superb itineraries are far from your ordinary ‘cruise’. Cruising a maximum 4 hours a day, Blue Lagoon Cruises has guests ashore experiencing all that Fiji is famous for – not that they necessarily go to famous locations (other than the Blue Lagoon itself of course)! Usually they opt to visit ‘secret’ bays and coves, including their own private beach at Nanuya Lailai, where there’s a coconut palm or quiet bit of beach for couples to snuggle up.

Snorkelling at colourful reefs, enjoying a traditional feast with remote island villagers, swimming through sacred caverns and lazing on the most pristine beaches you can imagine create romantic memories for everyone enjoying the celebration.

“This is the perfect choice for honeymooners who want that mix of private, romantic time as well as the opportunity to socialise with other travellers, and actively participate in a range of excursions and activities if they want to,” Ms Fisher said.
