The heart-stopping River Jets (Thrill Ride) has launched in Sigatoka on Fiji’s Coral Coast promising a high octane and excitement thrill ride not for the faint hearted.
The thrilling jet boat ride travels along the Sigatoka River while executing exhilarating full 360° spins and lots of twists and turns.
It’s not all heart pumping thrills, with passengers still able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the River.
River Jets (Thrill Ride) is the newest tour from the successful and award winning Sigatoka River Safari brand, owned and operated by Australian Jay Whyte.
The popular Sigatoka River Safari first launched in Fiji in 2006, followed by the Off Road Caves Safari in 2012 and now River Jets (Thrill Ride) will join the thriving tour portfolio.
According to Mr Whyte, “River Jets (Thrill Ride) was born due to feedback from passengers indicating how much they enjoyed the jet boat ride at the end of our cultural tour, the Sigatoka River Safari.”
“I thought River Jets (Thrill Ride) would be a great option to offer the adrenalin loving tourist and there is nothing like this available on the Coral Coast.”
Mr Whyte said while River Jets (Thrill Ride) is the perfect stand-alone tour, it would combine well with the Sigatoka River Safari or Off Road Caves Safari.
River Jets (Thrill Ride) also makes a great activity for the Conference market. Operating hourly departures the tour is ideal for busy conference groups who can easily fit the 40 minute jet boat ride into their day and be back at their resorts in no time.
Like the Sigatoka River Safari, jet boat Captains have been specially trained to International standards in New Zealand by former World Marathon Jet Boat Champion, Neil Ross. River Jets (Thrill Ride) jet boat, Keelow, can seat 11 passengers and was custom made in New Zealand, built for its practical application on the Sigatoka River.
Departing Monday to Saturday, every hour on the hour from 10am to 5pm, River Jets (Thrill Ride) departs from Sigatoka Town and is priced at Adults $110.00 and Children $55.00 (ex-Sigatoka Town). Transfers from Coral Coast, Nadi and Denarau resorts are available.
