Excitement is building among TravelManagers’ personal travel managers (PTMs) as they prepare to descend on Adelaide for the company’s Annual National Conference which commences today.
Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal, says the lineup of outstanding guest speakers, practical training sessions and fun social events have set the level of expectation among the 258 delegates very high.
“As always, this weekend’s conference will be a rewarding and enriching experience for all concerned, and I’m quite certain that our PTMs will leave with a renewed sense of focus, energy and purpose.”
“Our three keynote speakers this year are Australian Olympic gold medallist, Alisa Camplin-Warner (OAM), world-class entrepreneur, Matthew Michalewicz and health whisperer Teresa Boyce. We are also lucky to be hosting champion racing car driver, Nick Percat, so we’re definitely in for an inspiring weekend.”
One of the highlights is sure to be the Gala Dinner to be held on Sunday night at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
“This is our opportunity to recognise and reward the highest-performing and most-improved of our PTMs from the preceding year. It’s always a fun event and a chance for us to celebrate our achievements together as a group.”
“Our evening functions on Friday and Saturday nights will be held at the National Wine Centre and the Adelaide Oval respectively, so we’re really experiencing the best Adelaide has to offer.”
The conference will also feature a demonstration of the new TravelManagers client App, which is designed to provide clients with full details of their travel itineraries, along with much more, at the tap of a finger.
According to Gazal, “this new App will be available on both Android and Apple devices. Our clients are increasingly accessing this sort of technology in all aspects of their lives and we are excited to be able to offer what we believe is unique in the Australian retail travel market.”
At each conference, the company also undertakes a charity community event. Details for this year are being kept under wraps, but it’s sure to be something that capitalises on the strong spirit of teamwork and underscores the conference theme: focus.
