Two-wheeler fans can look forward to the first MOTORRAD live Stuttgart, which will premiere in February 2017 with a range of innovations and shows

Ulrich Kromer, MD at Messe Stuttgart, with his Harley Davidson: “I’m delighted to be hosting the first motorcycle exhibition on our grounds.”

The latest event on the grounds of Messe Stuttgart will present cool designs and powerful engines. As of 2017, MOTORRAD live Stuttgart will become a major biker attraction in the region for two-wheeler fans. The first motorcycle and scooter exhibition will kick off the new season from 10-12 February 2017 in Halls 7 and 9 at Messe Stuttgart.

“I’m very happy to offer motorcyclists in the region a top motorcycle exhibition with MOTORRAD live Stuttgart, where every year, manufacturers will present their innovations”, says a delighted Ulrich Kromer, Managing Director at Messe Stuttgart and professed Harley rider. Besides the pure exhibition, a range of shows and activities are planned, particularly on the grounds outside the exhibition halls, which will take centre stage. “The unique experience of MOTORRAD live Stuttgart will continue to be developed further. It will be an exclusive motorcycle exhibition”, adds Stefan Lohnert, Division Director Guest Events at Messe Stuttgart.

The exhibition organiser is TWIN Veranstaltungsgesellschaft GmbH, which has already established the leading German spring motorcycle fairs in Dortmund and Leipzig. Managing Director of TWIN, Hans-Jürgen Weigt, sees the advantages that Stuttgart offers: “The modern halls and ideal transport links in the southern German conurbation lead us to expect a high number of visitors. There is also a high level of purchasing power among motorcyclists in the region, which companies are aware of.”

Over 1.8 million motorised two-wheelers are registered or insured in Baden-Württemberg and in the bordering conurbations. As of February, their owners will be very close to an exhibition offering a diverse programme. Based on these facts, TWIN Veranstaltungsgesellschaft expects over 300 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors, including many active motorcycle and scooter riders. There will be special offers for younger visitors and newly qualified riders.

But the Stuttgart Messe grounds also offer excellent possibilities for visitors from around the world. “Manufacturers, importers and retailers will also use the exhibition in Stuttgart as an opportunity to meet other industry players. We will design the event in such a way that it creates the ideal conditions for this”, explains Weigt.

The exhibition programme will feature motorcycles, accessories and clothing, as well as special shows and exhibition stands presenting the latest trends in the motorcycle sector. This also includes machine tuning, which refers to custom conversion of motorcycles to meet users’ personal tastes. Retro-style features are also in demand, which more and more manufacturers are already offering ex works. This and much more can be found at the Stuttgart trade fair grounds from 10 February 2017.
