First of its kind – revolutionary dessert parlour takes on Sydney

Founder and Owner of Crumble Top, Luke Stack, launched his revolutionary dessert venture in Newtown, Sydney in May this year.  Since opening, the business has grown considerably and Luke is now looking at opportunities to expand across Sydney and into other states.  Crumble Top features an innovative new concept where everyone is able to design their own Crumble which is then made and baked to order.  Luke is no stranger to being part of high performing kitchens having worked with Gordon Ramsey as his Sous Chef for several years in London.

“I came up with the concept after getting some fresh rhubarb from the farmers market and making a crumble out of it. Everyone really loved it, so I came up with Crumble Top,” Luke said today.

“Everyone loves Crumble and I have created the ability for people to design their own Crumble using fresh, wholesome and healthy ingredients. And for those that feel like being a bit naughty, they can add some indulgent extras to the side as well.”

“The process is simple. You select your filling, pick your topping and then decide what type of sides you would like to have – ice cream, sauce, custard.  The options are endless.”

“I am really pleased with the response to Crumble Top. We are making a big difference in Sydney by providing people with a fresh and interesting range of desserts.”

“We even offer gluten free and vegan options so there is something for everyone. People are traveling quite a distance to visit us and create their own Crumble.”

“We have also recently partnered with Uber Eats and Deliveroo and are achieving amazing results with them. Hundreds of Crumbles are now being delivered across Sydney as a result and the numbers are growing.”

“I think the idea is just so different and exciting that everyone wants to get on board which is great to see.”

“The opportunities are endless. I have already been approached by potential investors interested in franchising – there is obviously a huge market out there that hasn’t been catered to before.”
