Flash Camp’s pop-up glamping experience at Coolendel on the Shoalhaven River on the NSW South Coast will reopen on August 31, 2018, after a break over the cooler months. This summer, for the first time, Flash Camp will open a second camp especially pitched to group bookings and offer a 15 per cent discount for stays at its main camp. Whether glamping as a group, a couple or a family, the secluded glamping spot allows guests to spend quality time together in nature, without the hard work of erecting tents.

Flash Camp is Australia’s leading provider of temporary camping services and last year partnered with Coolendel to provide glamping on the peaceful banks of the Shoalhaven River. The result was a stellar success so this summer a second self-catered camp will be set up just for groups in addition to the normal camp. Featuring six, large bell tents fitted out with quality bedding and amenities, the group camp is ideal for extended families or groups of friends who wish to enjoy nature in comfort and style. Guests can enjoy each other’s company in tranquil bushland surrounds without the traditional hassles of camping.

Flash Camp is also offering 15 per cent off twin-share accommodation rates at the main camp for stays up to October 14, 2018, when the promo code “Starlight15” is used on the website.

Located 2.5 hours south of Sydney and 30 minutes from Nowra, the private Flash Camp at Coolendel adjoins the public campsite which comprises 52 hectares of ancient bushland. The adventure commences when guests reach the well maintained, but unsealed road for a 25-minute journey into the wilderness. Here, Coolendel offers the ultimate camping adventure with secluded, grassy areas and home to an abundance of wildlife such as wombats, wallabies and native birds. Visitors can enjoy bushwalking, photography, canoeing, biking and fishing as well as camp-based games, or simply chill out in the natural surroundings.

Ideal for couples or groups of friends and families with children, all Flash Tents have solar lighting, a table and chairs, ‘Biology’ toiletries, timber chest, Pony Rider décor, Armadillo & Co rugs, its own campfire brazier and grill and all bedding and equipment. For balmy nights under the stars with friends old and new, there is a communal Flash Camp lounge area with cover, seating, fairy lights and a BBQ and stoves for sheltered cooking plus a wash-up facility. Guests of the Flash Camp share the regular, nearby Coolendel campsite amenities of hot showers and toilets.

Rates at the main Flash Camp at Coolendel are from $179 per couple, per night, including the 15 per cent discount for stays before October 14, 2018, using the promo code ‘Starlight15”. Tents can sleep up to four people, with additional adults being $85 per night, while children are $70 per night.

The new, second camp is available for group bookings, starting at $1440 per night for up to 12 people.

All rates cover tent hire and facilities, with campers bringing their own food and towels. Stays must be a minimum of two nights.
