Australia’s original and largest pop-up glamping operator, Flash Camp has established a new base in the Northern Territory, partnering with local couple, Fiona Walker and Allan Lodge, who will operate the business under a license agreement.

The timely partnership coincides with Flash Camp’s return to Cooinda in Kakadu over the 2017 dry season.

“We’re excited to hit the ground running, managing the setup and pack down of the Flash Camp glamping accommodation at Cooinda,” says Allan who is also the owner and director of a local Indigenous business, Innovative Office Furniture.

“We also see significant opportunities to bring this unique style of accommodation to various events and sites throughout the Territory and in Kununurra and are looking forward to representing the Flash Camp brand here,” he added.

Flash Camp CEO, Cameron Arnold says the demand for pop-up glamping Australia-wide has increased significantly, prompting the decision to license the Flash Camp brand.

“We are continually inundated with enquiries due to our reputation as the leader in the country in popup glamping, so the move to license the brand was a logical next step in order to grow with the demand,” he says.

“Having Fiona and Allan representing our brand in the NT is a great privilege; we feel extremely confident in their ability to deliver an outstanding service and hope to secure more licensees of a similar calibre in other locations around Australia,” Cameron added.

According to Cameron, prospective Flash Camp licensees may include holiday park owners, wedding and event venues, event hire companies or those with an interest in tourism and hospitality.

“Flash Camp is a unique business with a number of different models of operation that licensees and clients can tap into, from basic bell tent hire for small private events through to fully furnished pop-up hotel style accommodation and services suited to larger corporate events, retreats and seasonal holiday destinations,” says Cameron.
