Marvelous flavors illuminate Valentine’s Day at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu, as couples are treated to the finest creations made by award-winning chefs – idyllically complemented with soulful serenades and resplendent seaside views.

Couples may select from an array of picturesque dining enclaves including Paradise Island, Observatory, Gazebo, Acqua Veranda and CHI Cabana, where they dine exclusively against lush greenery under dreamy starlit skies. For a panoramic view of the waters, paired with refreshing sea breeze, couples may also opt to dine at the Boat Jetty or the Beachfront.

The Valentine’s Day dinner package at Paradise Island, which sits on the heart of the 350-meter beach cove, is at PHP20,000++ per couple. It includes a set menu, a bottle of champagne and free-flowing non-alcoholic beverages. Couples also enjoy heartfelt tunes by a private musician and a bouquet of fresh flowers.
A lush experience also awaits couples at Observatory, Gazebo, Acqua Veranda and CHI Cabana, where they enjoy a delightful five-course set menu and a bottle of champagne at PHP15,000++ per couple. The magical sound of crashing waves set the stage for scenic moments at the Beachfront and the Boat Jetty, where the set menu dinner packages are at PHP15,000++ and PHP10,500++ per couple, respectively.
The resort’s Michelin-experienced chefs have exciting menus at the restaurants as well. Andrea Burzio of Acqua delights the senses with a hearty serving of Grilled US Beef Fillet, while Daniel Quintero of Cowrie Cove surprises the palate with his signature Beef Cheek with Dark Chocolate Sauce. The four-course Valentine’s Day dinner at Acqua and Cowrie Cove is at PHP4,000++ and at PHP5,000++ per couple, respectively.
Tides’ dessert station sweetens its Valentine’s Day dinner buffet with a playful selection of heart-shaped cakes and pastries. Couples also receive a complimentary pitcher of Lovers Potion, a signature cocktail available only for the occasion. The dinner buffet is at PHP2,750 net per person.
Lobby Lounge begins the day’s celebration with Valentine’s Day desserts offered with a glass of sparkling wine, from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. It is available at PHP550 net per person.
Excellent flavors indeed illuminate the seaside paradise on Valentine’s Day.
