Flight Centre Travel Group’s My Adventure Store rebrands to My Adventure Travel

Adventure travel specialist My Adventure Store has changed its name to My Adventure Travel, better reflecting the brand’s positioning and growth strategy, it was announced today.

National marketing manager Paddy Scott said the new name was a natural progression for the full-service travel agency which aims to be the sole adventure travel provider within the Flight Centre group and leader in its space nationally.

“We are very excited to announce the rebranding to My Adventure Travel aimed at clearly identifying our place in the market and providing a strong platform to implement our growth strategy,’’ Mr Scott said.

“While My Adventure Store has enjoyed excellent brand recognition, there was a degree of ambiguity with the name implying we were a retail provider of adventure equipment rather than travel.

“The new name, My Adventure Travel makes it crystal clear what we do – offering the world’s best adventure travel experiences  – and better reflects our growth strategy, service offer and positioning,’’ he said.

My Adventure Travel is a full service travel agency with a focus on small group trips.  They offer expert advice on the widest range of adventure products and airlines to take care of every element of the customer’s journey.

The business has a national retail footprint as well as an online enquiry solution and call centre.

My Adventure Travel’s website receives 40,000 visitors per month on average.  The site offers visitors the ability to search travel products by destination or experiences and research flight options.

Mr Scott said the brand’s strength came from first hand travel advice from highly experienced and passionate staff, huge range of exciting travel options, largest and most experienced network of travel partners, local knowledge and 24/7 customer support.

Journeys focus on physical activity, cultural immersion and interaction with the natural environment, bypassing the well-worn tourist trails and mass tourism.
