Palace Centro is changing its name to Palace James St, but that’s not all…

From November 16, movie lovers will be invited to take their cinema experience to the next level, literally, into cinema reimagined with the opening of Palace Platinum James St.

So just what is Platinum? Think, a movie equivalent of a Michelin Star…

Forrest Gump obviously never experienced Palace Platinum James St., when he uttered the words “Life was like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.” At Palace Platinum James St. you know exactly what you’re going to get, a luxurious, lush and lavish experience like no other.

Palace Cinema CEO, Benjamin Zeccola hit the nail on the head when he said “The cinema experience is evolving! In the golden years we could choose from dress circle, lounge or stall seating options. Now with Platinum we can choose a great movie experience that include luxurious seating, great dining options accompanied by premium wines, cocktails and craft beers.”

Palace Platinum James St is dinner AT the movies. Partnering with purveyors of fine foods including Chow House and multiple award-winning Jocelyn’s Provisions, patrons can experience a superbly curated menu plus select from the best Australian wines with international highlights, along with craft beers and classic cocktails.

Jocelyn’s Provisions supply fine food products to award-winning restaurants worldwide, and are thrilled to partner with Palace Platinum James St.

“We love collaborating within our James Street community, and think the Palace Platinum experience, with a heavy emphasis on great food and wines, (while being entertained in absolute luxury) will create a fantastic overall experience for movie-goers,” a Jocelyn’s spokesperson said.

With gourmet food and premium beverages, a burning passion of Palace Platinum James St., the experience is akin to a movie Michelin Star.

Another Platinum indulgence is reclining leather chairs complete with footrests for the ultimate in comfort. This is truly cinema reimagined.

Platinum’s ‘silent service’ allows for patrons to order additional fare during the movie, by writing down their order. This ensures no distraction for others lost in the magical world of luxury silver screen entertainment. Discreet butler service is assured.

Films on show during November include Bohemian Rhapsody, (Nov 1st), Suspiria, (Nov 8th), Boy Erased, (Nov 8th), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald, (Nov 15th), The Old Man & the Gun, (Nov 15th), and The Children Act, Nov 22nd).
