Forevermark To Celebrate Sparkling Queensland Launch

One of the most famous diamond brands in the world is set to shine in Brisbane. Forevermark, the diamond brand from the De Beersgroup of companies, has announced Diamonds International as an exclusive retail partner in Brisbane, with a glittering unveiling set forFebruary 12 (interviews and imagery and more available on request).  

The star of the launch in Brisbane will be a magnificent 12 carat Canadian diamond which originated from a 35.80 carat stone, the largest ever to be mined, cut and polished in Canada.

Part of Forevermark’s Exceptional Collection, this stunning diamond was mined four years ago at the De Beers’ Victor Diamond Mine, home of some of the world’s rarest diamonds. It is the first time the diamond has ever been in Australia.  250x250TICBanner

Forevermark diamonds are inscribed with a promise, a promise that each diamond is beautiful, rare and has been responsibly sourced. Less than one per cent of the world’s diamonds are eligible to be Forevermark; they are carefully selected from sources committed to high business, social and environmental standards and crafted by only a handful of master craftsmen.  Similarly, Forevermark only partners with responsible retailers, including those in Australia, who share the brand’s philosophy and meet Forevermark’s strict integrity requirements

This is the first significant presence of Forevermark in Queensland, and follows the expansion of the Forevermark brand across Asia, North America and the Middle East.

Forevermark diamonds are worn by some of the most famous women in the world, most notably Australia’s Nicole Kidman, who dazzled in Forevermark diamonds on the red carpet for the 2008 world premiere of Australia in Sydney.

A wealth of other international female stars have worn Forevermark diamonds – Michelle Obama, Alicia Keys, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michelle Williams, Jessica Alba, Yasmin Le Bon, Christina Hendricks, Andrea Riseborough, Carey Mulligan, Uma Thurman, Norah Jones and Naomie Harris. Just last week at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, actor Olivia Wilde donned a Forevermark diamond marquise shaped ring totalling just over three carats, and E! Host Giuliana Rancic wore $3 million worth of sparkling Forevermark diamonds including a 14.58 carat ring, this was two among many.

The 2014 Academy Awards in March is also expected to shine with Forevermark diamonds as the world’s leading celebrities increasingly look to Forevermark for diamonds that they can be proud to wear on the red carpet and come with a promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing.

This truly global diamond brand will now also call Brisbane home, testament to the appeal and importance of the Queensland capital as a city of discerning style.

Forevermark diamonds are genuine, natural and untreated, and the promise that it has met stringent criteria is evidenced by a unique inscription of an icon and individual number that identifies it as uniquely individual. Invisible to the naked eye, this inscription is made using bespoke technology from the De Beers group.
