Hospitality technology firm Monscierge, recently known for providing the Travelodge UK mobile booking application, has added the hospitality expertise of Jeff Snow, the former Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Director of Interactive Design and Development, to their team.
During his tenure at Starwood, Snow led teams of UX/UI designers, project managers and art directors to produce content for all communication channels throughout the 10 brands under the Starwood umbrella, including the Starwood Preferred Guest rewards program.
“Hospitality needs innovative, agile partners that not only put the user experience at the forefront of the product, but also understand the expectations of customers. I feel that by working at a technology company such as Monscierge, a team that is progressive in thought leadership and technology evolution, I can quickly make a larger impact within the industry.” — Jeff Snow, Innovation & Product Development, Monscierge
Snow also served this past year at the GOLF CHANNEL, where he built a team of a dozen interactive creatives specializing in mobile UX/UI, web design and development, and wearable technologies, which lead to improving the GolfNow application user reviews from 1 star to over 4.5 stars. Snow also created the companion Apple Watch app to improve the golfers’ experience through GPS and scoring.
“We are rapidly expanding the Monscierge product line and are dedicated to developing features that better complete the guest journey, such as guest-to-staff requests via wearables. Jeff Snow is already proving to be a seasoned industry professional who truly understands the vision of hospitality executives around the globe.” — Marcus Robinson, Chief Experience Officer, Monscierge.
Hotels are discovering that guests own and use technology more advanced than they have to offer onsite, which creates an urgency to quickly implement scalable solutions – especially when combating the technology seen from the peer-to-peer sharing economy of AirBNB and HomeAway.
“Monscierge is the only company that I feel truly understands hospitality’s needs. They’ve built a platform that can scale, as well as integrate with current hotel property solutions,” comments Snow. “The time for the hospitality industry to implement guest and staff technology is now. It’s exciting to work every day in conjunction with brands and properties that are eager to stay competitive and change an industry.”
