Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour guarantees first class event technology with the appointment of Staging Connections as the hotel’s onsite audio visual (AV) and event services provider. This exciting appointment comes as the hotel nears the grand unveiling of its waterfront convention centre on 1 June, 2016.
Ensuring unparalleled services throughout the hotel’s 3,700sqm of meeting space, Staging Connections, in partnership with the hotel, will provide leading technical and production facilities, including a state-of-the-art control system that seamlessly links the audio, vision and lighting systems in each of the event spaces. Integrated rigging systems in the hotel’s two impressive ballrooms will also ensure all technology, branding and theming elements can be personalised to cater to client needs and requirements. Furthermore, Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour will be the only hotel in Sydney with a car hoist, which can be used to display vehicles or suspend them from the ceiling.
Four Points by Sheraton Sydney’s General Manager David Fraser said the partnership with Staging Connections will take the hotel’s event offering to a new level of excellence.

From 1 June, the iconic Sydney hotel is poised to become Australia’s leading convention address, offering 3,700 square metres of meeting space, including two pillarless ballrooms, offering a combined capacity for 2,100 people theatre style, as well as natural light and uninterrupted water views of Sydney’s Darling Harbour. The new meeting space will also include 21 flexible meeting rooms, spacious breakout areas and dedicated pre-function space.
Staging Connections has appointed Nathan Ryan as onsite sales manager to deliver events across these venues. Bringing over 13 years’ experience managing many of Staging Connections largest venue operations, along with his strong relationships with key members of the Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour team, Nathan will manage the onsite team to deliver the highest standard of event delivery.

- For presentations and performances, the ballrooms will have over 120 intelligent LED pinspots that can be programed to change the lighting effect
- 20 ultra-bright 16K ansi HD projectors will produce top quality images and audio will be crisp and clear thanks to the 50 EAW concert MK2366i loudspeakers
