Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen And Handpicked Wines Join Hands To Present An Exclusive Wine Dinner Experience

SZH_354_aspect4x5Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen, in cooperation with Handpicked Wines, presents a six-course gourmet wine dinner from now until August 31, 2015..

The menus will be served daily at award-wining Cantonese restaurant Zhuo Yue Xuan, offering a variety of signature dishes created by Chinese Executive Chef Tse Man.

“We have been working very closely with Handpicked Wines to create a distinctive wine dinner menu for our guests to savour,” says the Hotel’s Director of Food and Beverage Robert Yip.  “We want guests to experience how each Handpicked Wine Grand Cru can complement and give a unique taste and character each dish. As gourmet lovers ourselves, that is a perfect blend of East meets West.”

The menu includes a selection of six courses at CNY 800 plus 15 percent per person. A unique Grand Cru is carefully selected to match each of the different dishes based on the flavour and aroma of its ingredients. Signature dishes include marinated bitter gourd with orange cube; double-boiled scallop soup with wolfberries and Chinese yam; pan-fried garoupa fillet with balsamic truffle sauce; sauteed beef cube with mushroom and matsutake; braised e-fu noodles with seafood in superior broth; and baked egg tartlets with bird’s nest. To enhance the wine dinner experience, a Handpicked Wines company sommelier will select the house brand’s Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Merlot, Shirza, and Moscato D’asti to go with the courses.
