Frasers Hospitality Group in Indonesia has joined hands with Jakarta’s hard working Blue Bird taxi drivers to thank them for their tireless support by giving them special Break-fast dinner boxes during the holy fasting month of Ramadan

Fresh from winning Indonesia’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand 2017 at the World Travel Awards in Shanghai two weeks ago, Fraser’s three operating serviced apartments in Setiabudi, Sudirman and Menteng opened their doors to 150 drivers each.

The Jakarta cabbies all took a break from their rounds and picked up their special “re-fuelling” dinner boxes containing Indonesian culinary favourites on June 21, before hitting the busy city streets again to ply their trade.

The leading global serviced apartment group first entered Indonesia in 2011, opening Fraser Residence Sudirman, featuring 108 Gold Standard fully furnished services apartments and a 50-metre Olympic-sized swimming pool.

This was followed by pet-friendly Fraser Residence Menteng, which features 128 serviced apartments in the heart of the Jakarta’s illustrious and historical old town. One year ago Fraser Place Setiabudi, Jakarta opened, quickly gaining an esteemed reputation by winning an individual award for Indonesia’s Leading Serviced Apartment 2017 at the World Travel Awards.

Fraser Place Setiabudi features 151 well-appointed serviced residences set in landscaped gardens and overlooking the skyscrapers of Thamrin and Kuningan. Each apartment is fully-furnished with designated living, dining, kitchen and bedroom areas. What really sets the apartment apart are its facilities which feature a swimming pool, fitness centre, basketball and tennis courts, outdoor jogging track and a children’s playground.

Frasers Hospitality Group has a further six properties in the pipeline for Jakarta, bringing the group’s portfolio in the city to a total of nine by 2019. Frasers Hospitality’s global portfolio, including those in the pipeline, stands at 148 properties and more than 80 cities and 22,500 keys worldwide.
