On How Bloggers And Social Media Can Support Thailand Tourism – Don’t Miss This Opportunity To Join A Couple Of Hours In The Morning To Support Thailand Tourism

The Blogger Matchup Morning Forum, which will be held in the morning before the Blogger Matchup Speed Dating in the afternoon on June 2nd at the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit Thonglor is NOW FREE FOR ANYBODY TO ATTEND!

Register for free: http://www.diasiaevents.com/events/register/

THE REASON?

Bloggers are now more important than ever to communicate the message that Thailand is safe, and the event’s sponsors/supporters such as TAT, SKAL and AmCham, are 100% committed to make this 1-day event a showcase to the world that Bangkok/Thailand is open for business. We also heard from its Deputy Governor directly, that TAT is still going ahead with its TTM+ event.

Today, TAT, hotel brands, and all our partners understand the limitations and obvious biases of international news reporting, and that bloggers have become the ‘communication answer’ to report the correctness of the situation in Bangkok and in Thailand.

To demonstrate how critical participation is, we will also issue DIA/TAT printed attendance certificates (+ electronic badges for websites) in the name of each attendee (+titles and company names), with a mention along the lines of: “I was there at the DIA/TAT Blogger Matchup on 2 June 2014 when Thailand’s travel and tourism needed me in difficult times.”

Due to the event’s importance in the eyes of the industry, we have decided to make the morning session free for anyone to attend. We know budgets are tight, but this has become a passion project, and we want to create something unique that brings value to the Thai tourism and hospitality industry. Therefore, in addition to the theme of how to work with bloggers, the morning session now has an unique focus on how bloggers and social media can support Thailand Tourism. Google will present as well.
