Gardening gurus and beginners alike can hone their skills at two, free workshops in the Macarthur region on Saturday, July 22, 2017, held at the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living.

Nestled next to the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan between Campbelltown and Camden, the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living is a unique, not-for-profit, community facility which promotes sustainability. Supported by local councils and the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust, the centre is entirely self-sufficient, generating its own power and re-using all rain and waste water.

The centre offers a range of free workshops throughout the year. On July 22, 2017, a workshop focused on ‘Preparing for spring vegetable gardens’ will run from 10am to 12pm.
Those wanting to make a start in gardening can benefit from the ‘Gardening for Beginners’ workshop, held from 1pm to 3pm on the same day.

The workshops are free. Bookings are essential and can be made by calling 4647 9828 or visiting
