ACT travel agency, Active Travel, will host its first travel expo in Canberra on Saturday, August 20, 2016, showcasing its range of small group tours to all corners of the globe.
The free event at Nepalese restaurant, The Hungry Buddha, at 44 Curtin Place, Curtin, will run from 10am to 5pm and feature seven presentations by tour hosts who will escort Active Travel’s exclusive range of special interest tours soon to Japan, Nepal, Mauritius, Peru, India, Sri Lanka, Tonga, France, Scotland, Laos, Thailand, Italy, China, Uzbekistan, New Zealand and also Tasmania.
The tours featured will include the themes of wellness, art, language, culture and community and also appeal to those seeking adventure or family holidays.
There will also be a showcase for river cruises in Asia and ocean cruises to Antarctica.
Complimentary refreshments and door travel prizes will be available as well as special discounts and earlybird specials on the day
Active Travel Director Nick Carter said the expo was aimed at inspiring travel ideas and turning travel dreams into reality.
