Plus One Marketing Ltd., a Japanese manufacturer specializing in mobility devices and MVNO service under the FREETEL brand (https://www.freetel-japan.com/), announced on December 15 the addition of new, larger-capacity SIM cards in the “FREETEL Prepaid Data SIM for Japan” series for overseas travelers to Japan and for Japanese nationals returning home for short-term stays.

The new cards follow the successful 1GB & 2GB cards, whose sales numbers grew more than twice in the July-September quarter in both domestic and international markets(*).The new 3GB & 5GB cards use the Docomo network, providing full coverage in Japan, while FREETEL continues increasing in bandwidth, allowing users to enjoy stress-free, high-speed Internet experience. The package also comes with souvenir postcards so users can share the joy & memories with their loved ones.

By using these prepaid SIM cards, users can use SNS applications such as Facebook, LINE, WhatsApp, WeChat, and Kakao Talk for free because the data used via these apps are not deducted from the purchased data amount. Moreover, users are able to use the data recharge coupon to easily add additional data to their SIM cards.

The products can be purchased via FREETEL-authorized partners in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, ASEAN countries, Australia and the United States.
