French modern cuisine by guest chef Gilles Reinhardt

For the First Time in Thailand between 27th – 31st May 2014…Pullman Bangkok King Power proudly presents a marvelous dining experience of the modern French cuisine created by Paul Bocuse, 3-Michelin Star Chef for over 45 years until now.

French Guest Chef at Pullman Bangkok King Power2.1At this moment, the world famous chef Paul Bocuse is sending Chef Gilles Reinhardt from his 3-Michelin Star Restaurant from L’Auberge du Pont de Collonges in Lyon, to prepare an exclusive gala dinner at Déjà Vu restaurant on Wednesday 28th and set dinner to share with your friends and business partners at Wine Pub.

Chef Gilles Reinhardt is considered one of the greatest chefs of the 20th century. He has also been awarded the prestigious title of “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” presented by French President Jacques Chirac in 2004.

Bringing along fresh Lyonnais produce and the extraordinary culinary methods inherited from the legendary Bocuse, Chef Gilles will be presenting a delectable dinner menu consisting of ‘Black Truffle Soup V.G.E’, Scallops Gnocchi, Leek and Herb Butter Sauce, Bourgeois-Style Pan-Roasted Pigeon and Lobster Gratin Fernand Point and many more.

French Guest Chef at Pullman Bangkok King Power3.1The highlight menu is ‘Black Truffle Soup V.G.E’, it is a legendary dish which Paul Bocuse created in 1975 and it was served for the former French President Valery Giscard d’Estaing at the Elysée Palace of Pari. And this later became his signature dish, and the soup has been served at his restaurant in Lyon ever since.

During his busy international schedule Chef Gilles promotes the incomparable French cuisine of Paul Bocuse with the concept of “A Before Bocuse And An After Bocuse”  including  visiting destinations such as Tokyo, Vietnam, Indonesia and Hong Kong and coming to soon to Bangkok at Pullman King Power.
