French Travel Connection unveils largest ever brochure dedicated to France

French Travel Connection (FTC) today released the most wide-ranging and detailed brochure ever produced for Australian travellers to France, while also announcing an expansion of its specialist reservations team.

FTC has added two new consultants, giving it a team of eight dedicated France specialists, backed up by cutting-edge booking technology that ensures fast and efficient service, accurate quotations and instant confirmations.

“No-one else in the Australian marketplace delivers this level of support for travel to France,” McDonnell said. “It means that agents can have total confidence when they deal with FTC.”

The 112-page program offers free inclusions for selected Paris packages, more mid-range Paris hotels, new crewed barging options, indulgent yachting charters, and an expanded range of tours – from escorted journeys to independent walking and cycling adventures.

FTC has also responded to agent feedback by re-configuring the new brochure into five comprehensive and easy-to-navigate sections covering Paris, Battlefields, Tours, Regional France and Waterways.

Additional highlights of the new brochure include:

·         more Paris – new bonus inclusions for three- and five-night stays, a selection of new three- and four-star hotels, stays at the luxurious historic palace Le Royal Monceau Raffles, additional touring options and fine dining at Brasseries Frères Blanc

·         added touring options – small group tours now combine regional stays with the convenience of train passes, and travellers can choose from an expanded range of walking and cycling tours right across France

·         more regional France – new village and seaside hotels, an added-value shopping discount card in Nice, the addition of Toulouse accommodation options and tours, self-drive in Brittany, a new walking tour of Lyon, and popular side-trips from Normandy (including an excursion to the Cote Fleurie resort townships of Deauville and Honfleur) 

·         seven new crewed canal barges – two new lead-in crewed barges (from EUR2550* per person twin share for seven days/six nights all inclusive) and five new crewed luxury barges

·         an expanded river cruise range – a new eight-day cruise in the South of France takes in Bordeaux and exclusive wine tastings (from $3645* per person twin share)

·         an all-inclusive luxury yacht charter on the Cote d’Azur – a three-cabin, private sailing catamaran (with professional captain and host) provide the best way to avoid the crowds and discover the famous beaches and charming villages of southern France.
