The French Dining in the Dark concept already experienced by more than 2,000 guests in Melbourne is organising a French Week from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 July to celebrate Bastille Day.
For this special week, Head Chef Dinesh Munirathinam, who has worked with different Chefs from Europe and has learnt French cuisine, has designed French surprise menus (Feed Me and Vegan/Vegetarian) and shares his passion to make patrons (re)discover the taste of France in pitch darkness.
Along with delightful surprise menus and a selection of French wines, guests will explore their senses in a powerful way and travel to France through this captivating sensory journey. “French” surprises are to be expected as well.
Dans le Noir ? will also attend the annual Bastille Day French Festival on Sunday 15 July at Meat Market in North Melbourne. The Festival brings together the French-Australian community to celebrate the French National Day with a large cultural program. The restaurant Dans le Noir ? at The Como Melbourne is hosting a “French Sensory Journey” in collaboration with Romeo Wine from 2:00pm. Patrons will embark on a unique experience and challenge themselves in the dark with playful activities to awaken their senses of smell, touch, hear and taste including a wine and cheese blind tasting.
