Frock Up at the Langham, Melbourne this Racing Season

Capturing the Spring Racing Carnival atmosphere, guests will be able to join the fun at Flemington via plasma screens all while enjoying the international cuisines at Melba and picturesque views of Melbourne’s city skyline. 
Upon arrival, guests will receive a celebratory flute of Domaine Chandon and there will be fabulous prizes on offer for the best dressed, best hat and sweeps.

Offering her tips on dressing for the occasion, The Langham, Melbourne ambassador and media personality, Gorgi Coghlan said: “I always start with the headwear and work around that. It means my hat is the centre-piece and inspiration for the rest of my outfit; Im definitely in the running for best hat!

The Cup Day Lunch will take place on Tuesday, 5 November and the Oaks Day Lunch  Thursday, 7 November from 12.30pm – 4pm at $125 per person.

For fashionistas wanting to prepare for the stylish racing season ahead, The Langham, Melbourne will also be hosting their signature Tiffin Tea’s in conjunction with fashion bible, Vogue Australia. Featuring desserts that showcase the vibrant colours of Spring Summer 13/14 fashion and classic dishes including very vanilla cupcakes, fluffy scones and ribbon sandwiches, ladies are sure to get into the Spring Racing spirit.
