FTI and TCEB gear up to “Thailand, a hub of Eco Light Technology and Energy Conservation for ASEAN, host EcoLightTech Asia 2013 first in Thailand and ASEAN.

The Institute of Industrial Energy, the Federation of Thai Industries in collaboration with Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau Plc. (TCEB) and titans in energy industry, hosted byEcoLightTech Asia 2013, an international trade show for green technologies and innovations in lighting, for the very first time in Thailand and ASEAN.

In response to the environmental awareness and high energy consumption, this event focuses on educating the entrepreneurs with the concept, “Save Energy, Save the World”, which aims to develop Thailand into Asia’s hub for energy-efficient technologies and innovations.

Mr. Rungruang Saipawan, Director of The Institute of Industrial Energy, The Federation of Thai Industries presided over the press conference for “EcoLightTech Asia 2013, to be held on November 13-15, 2013 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok”. The press conference holds a special talk on “Eco Light Technology: The Latest Energy Saving Trend” by Mrs. 500DA3508AD2A12F80348BBF3F94716B1Jaruwan Suwannasat, Exhibition Director, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau. (TCEB), and Mr. Panithan Bumrasarinpai, Senior Vice President of N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd. and Acting General Manager of N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. also present are Thailand’s leading LED manufacturer and distributor, Racer Electric.

Mr. Rungruang Saipawan, Director of the Institute of Industrial Energy, the Federation of Thai Industries revealed, “It is the government’s policy to cooperate with various countries to develop energy-efficient lighting technologies based on the Ministry of Energy’s 20-year energy saving plan (2011 -2030). This plan aims to reduce the energy consumption by 25% in 2030, as compared to the consumption in 2010. This reduction is equivalent to the final stage of consumption in 2030, which is 23.5% or 38,200 ton equivalent to crude oil. This is worth over 272 billion baht a year. Furthermore, the government plans to reduce the emission of pollution and greenhouse gas to 49 million tons a year on average.

The government approaches the set strategies via rules, regulations and standards of energy conservation and energy efficient consumption. The key approaches are implemented by The Institute of Industrial Energy and energy service companies who provide one stop services for energy conservation program and enforcement of its act at all elements through private and government sectors. As a result, we must start to develop the consumers’ behavioral changes and energy markets in parallel with all the energy-saving factors, especially equipments, electric appliances and the design of buildings, offices and engines, to ensure tangible energy saving. Furthermore, the Eco Light Technology helps reduce the emission of greenhouse gas while saving the nature and environment”

The fascinating Eco Light Technology includes energy efficient LED, which helps reduce the electricity cost by 15% – 70% and helps business owners reach their breakeven point within less than two years. The latest technology, OLED, glowing nano plastic similar to transparent film can be adjusted and bent into any shapes. It is perfect for a wide variety of interior decorations to best serve the growing need for the construction and real estate industry.

Mrs. Jaruwan Suwannasat, Exhibition Director, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) said, “TCEB’s Exhibition announced a 3-year strategic roadmap (for 2013-2015) to make Thailand the center of exhibition industry for ASEAN Economic Community and a plan to promote a strong network of exhibition business operators across the region. To achieve this goal, TCEB has targeted industries with high production and export potential. With this milestones roadmap, TCEB expects to boost the Thai exhibition industry by 30 per cent and generate Bt30 billion with 300,000 international visitors by 2015.

EcoLightTech Asia 2013 is one of the significant trade shows where TCEB has rendered our full support with international marketing communication activities to raise the show profile and attract international participants especially those from China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, and Myanmar. Additionally, we have extended visitor promotion campaign including 100 A-Head where the organizer is use to attract group visitors from ASEAN plus six countries and buyer appreciation program to attract potential buyers around the globe. With the best endeavor, we expect EcoLightTech Asia 2013 will make “Thailand, the exhibition platform for AEC”.

EcoLightTech Asia 2013 will take place between November 13 to 15, 2013, at Plenary Halls, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. More than 100 leading exhibitors from around the world, such as Sylvania, Konica Minolta, OSRAM and Racer, will attend the event. This event will attract international visitors from China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Philippines, Myanmar and Indonesia, and Thai visitors including decision-making people, engineers, interior and exterior designers, technicians and others from the government and private organizations. The event is expected to welcome about 5,000 – 8,000 visitors during these 3 days.

Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd announced, “EcoLightTech Asia 2013,an international trade show for green technologies and innovations in lighting.
