In response to growing traveller demand, global adventure travel specialist, G Adventures has introduced a new Scottish land-based itinerary as an optional addition to three of their Norwegian expedition adventures for 2020. The new three-day itineraries, which are now on sale, include two days in Edinburgh and one in the Scottish Highlands, offering travellers a taste of Scotland in addition to  their Norway Expedition.

“Over the past 12 months, we have seen an increase in requests from travellers seeking additional hotel nights either before or after their Norway Expedition departure, to allow them to explore the sites of Edinburgh and further afield,” comments Yves Marceau, Vice President of Product at G Adventures. “We have created this new three-day Scottish itinerary, to be able to cater to those who want to explore historic Edinburgh and the beautiful Scottish Highlands as part of their wider Expedition adventure in 2020”.

The new Scottish itinerary will include a guided walking tour of Edinburgh, taking in the sites of the Scottish Capital, including Edinburgh Castle and the National War Museum and a day trip to the Scottish Highlands. Travellers will explore the old town of Stirling, visit Wallace Monument and learn about the infamous battle of Bannockburn before visiting Deanston Distillery to taste real single malt scotch whiskey.
