Tahiti Vacations has just released their updated ‘Get Active in Tahiti’ 2015/16 brochure, featuring activities such as diving, surfing, sailing (by the cabin), deep-sea fishing, adventure-cruising and golfing, show casing the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Huahine, Rangiroa, the Tuamotu atolls and the Marquesas Islands.
New this year is the ‘Surf & Turf’ packages, combining land and sea options, discover the beautiful island of Huahine before setting off on a 44ft catamaran on a shared cruise with a skipper and hostess (no need to have any sailing experience) and sail from Huahine to Bora Bora . The new working freighter ‘Aranui 5’ will launch in the New Year for a 14 day adventure cruise from Tahiti, weaving its way up through the Tuamotu atolls to the Marquesas Islands and back via Bora Bora. The new ship boasts 103 cabins and dormitory style berths, accommodating up to 260 guests.
Managing Director Lola Carter says ‘There is more to Tahiti and her 118 islands than meets the eye, Tahiti is not only for couples, so these niche brochures are an opportunity to experience Tahiti from a different perspective – there is plenty to do and a lot of diversity between the high islands and low lying atolls that would appeal to a broad range of people. Being specialists, we know where all the best diving is to be had, where the surf spots are, what type of fish is to be caught at different times of the year and which accommodation option will be the most suitable, location and need specific’. Lola reiterates their catchphrase ‘Call the Experts – We Know it Best’.
