River Revery invites visitors and locals to Dream the impossible, Wander the mysterious, Play to the spontaneity and Feast on gourmet delights as the riverfront along Victoria Parade is reimagined.
Festival Manager Sarah Reeves said ‘the biggest challenge of 2016 is raising the bar from last year.’
‘While the staples return, we want every festival to celebrate in a different way, exploring new talent while dreaming of a positive future for the region.
The program is exciting, and once again we explore a theme that revolves around dreaming big and positive refection.’
River Revery will see aerial acrobatics, children’s workshops, amazing ticketed events, fireworks displays and live music from local talent through to X Factor champions.
Mayor Margaret Strelow said ‘the River Festival is more than just a festival with markets, music and food that delivers a multi-million dollar economic injection into the region.’
‘The festival asks us to reimagine what defines us as a region and how we can dream of a brighter future.’
The imagination beings with the festival zones, all aimed at delivering a memorable experience for all:
