Spread the love

Four Seasons Hotel Beijing is refining its offering at Opus Bar for 2019 with a new collection of more than 50 premier gins combined with an irresistible ambience for gin connoisseurs to come together and sip in style.

The seductive space invites guests to fall in love with new flavours thanks to its world-class selection of traditional and contemporary combinations. From City of London Distillery to Whitney Neill Crafted Gin, Liverpool Gin to Scotland’s Hendrick’s, there’s a bottle to satisfy every palate, sourced from England, France, America, Japan, China and beyond.

“Few people realise the endless irresistible ways gin can be paired with tonics and infused with flowers, spices and fruit to satiate the senses,” says Head Mixologist Keith Motsi.

“Our contemporary concoctions sit alongside timeless classics, Chinese favourites, and some really unusual flavours. As we get to know our guests, we learn where sweetness is needed, or if they prefer something fresh or spicy; each drink is a uniquely crafted creation.”

Take a seat at the bar and be guided by the Hotel’s talented tastemakers; relax at intimate tables among striking Chinese artworks; host an intimate gathering or private gin-tasting evening amid Opus Bar’s sparkling ambience; or – as summer evenings approach – step outside and sink into oversized sofas to sip cocktails on the comfy chic Opus Terrace.

Whatever one’s preference, expect Four Seasons impeccable service and thoughtful personal touches – such as cocktails served with ice cubes fashioned in the initials of the drinker.

“Gin has a long history, from the Middle Ages when Indians used its precursor, jenever, for medicinal benefits to the calming effect it had on 18th century soldiers heading into battle,” concludes Motsi. “We’re excited to be adding a new chapter to the history of gin right here in Beijing, with our celebration of this timeless classic reinvented for today’s connoisseurs.”
