In partnership with Giorgio Armani Beauty and HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free, Sydney Airport has unveiled a new Armani pop-up at the T1 International terminal in an Australian first.
The new Armani Box features a curated edit of the Giorgio Armani makeup collection and is housed within a striking pop-up inside HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free.
As part of the activation, Giorgio Armani Beauty has created a bespoke lip shade, Lip Maestro 405 Uri, which is exclusive to passengers departing Sydney Airport’s T1 for a limited time.
Designed to create an immersive and sensory experience, passengers can gain personal beauty guidance with the assistance of Giorgio Armani Face Designers who are on hand to provide a bespoke make-up service.
Greeting customers is Uri, a bold red gorilla statue created by Italian artist Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, an homage to the original which resides in Mr Armani’s Milan residence.
General Manager Retail Sydney Airport Glyn Williams said the Armani Box is a highly unique pop-up concept that reinforces Sydney Airport’s retail strategy to secure one-of-a-kind experiences for passengers to enjoy.
“Having recently been one of only three locations in Asia Pacific to showcase the Maison Christian Dior collection at T1, we’re thrilled to welcome another Australian first with the Armani Box, an exceptional concept that adds a serious level of theatre to our passenger’s journey,” Mr Williams said.
“Our partnership with HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free ensures we’re delivering the very best in innovative and interactive retail concepts and we’re absolutely delighted to be the only airport in Australia to showcase this boutique.”

The Armani Box is located at the T1 International terminal beyond security within HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free and is available exclusively at Sydney Airport for a limited time.
