“We are delighted to welcome Peter to the stage at our ninth annual European conference,” said Catherine McGavock, GBTA Regional Vice President – EMEA. “Peter boasts an impressive background in leadership and strategy and will surely inspire attendees to be effective leaders of change in our industry.”

“With Peter Fisk, we have gained an internationally renowned visionary for our conference, whose know-how, experience and innovative power will provide valuable food for thought for the further development of the business travel industry,” added VDR´s president Dirk Gerdom.

Peter Fisk will talk on how the new generation of businesses are game-changers. They think bigger, are more diversified, and seize opportunities to change and redefine markets in their own vision, and engage audiences in more relevant and inspiring ways. These game-changers win through ambition and innovation rather than legacy and scale, out-thinking the competition, focusing on the growth markets, and embracing technology in more human ways. With purpose and passion, they design and create, connect and collaborate, enable and enrich. He will focus on how these companies embrace the power of brands and networks to build markets as movements, business models that are sustainable and profitable, and make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Fisk is a global business thought leader on growth and innovation, customers and marketing. He is a bestselling author, expert consultant and keynote speaker, helping business leaders to develop innovative strategies for business and brands. Having trained as a nuclear physicist he went on to work with brands from Coca Cola to RedBull, Virgin to Vodafone. He is a professor at IE Business School where he leads their flagship executive leadership program, runs his own innovation company, GeniusWorks, and is director of Thinkers50 Global, which brings together the best ideas in business.

The conference will take place 27-29 November in Berlin, Germany at the Estrel Congress Center and will bring together more than 60 industry speakers and over 50 exhibitors from around the globe. This year’s theme, Momentum, is designed to address the rapid acceleration of change within the business travel industry.
