Spread the love

Vilnius, April 2019, Tinggly, the global experience gifting company, has launched Blogger House, an accommodation for influencers from across the world to stay in central Vilnius free of charge.Blogger House, which signified an investment of €100k, was designed to help Tinggly spread the message that experiences give us more happiness than things and continue on the path of growth, but also has the added benefit of serving as a platform to promote Vilnius and Lithuania.

“When we came up with the idea of Blogger House we realised that, apart from helping us to grow and spread our message, it could become a part of something much bigger. The idea of promoting our city and our country as well as our company resonated immediately” explains Linas Ceikus, Founder and Chief Experience Officer of Tinggly.

With Blogger House, Tinggly’s main objective is to spread its passion for experiences and show the world that experiences are more worthy of gifting than things, as they give us more happiness and longer-lasting memories. The way in which it aims to achieve that is by inviting influencers from all over the world and showing them around Vilnius and other parts of Lithuania, as well as taking part in unique experiences. In doing so, the company also plays the role of a tourism board. Every piece of content produced as a result of Blogger House is promotional material for the country.

The way in which Tinggly frames its relationship with influencers when it comes to Blogger House creates an additional benefit. In line with the company’s philosophy that gifting experiences is more meaningful than things, Tinggly doesn’t pay them or give them anything material. Tinggly’s idea is to prove its concept with influencers while facilitating a more authentic and trustworthy reflection of the experience and the place.

Vilnius is already gaining traction as an international destination, and for the last few years it has been frequently highlighted by many of the world’s most important media outlets, be it for its architecturally rich Old Town, its Christmas atmosphere in the winter, or its unbeatable value for money. But it faces huge competition from other, bigger tourist destinations with much bigger marketing budgets.  Within that context, Blogger House is a huge boost for Vilnius’ tourism development capabilities. Few tourism boards are able to afford the luxury of such initiatives, much less with the same level of effort and authenticity behind it.

An initiative like Blogger House also gives the opportunity to present Vilnius and Lithuania from another side. Not only that which is famous or well-known, but that which lies off the beaten path. And, of course, Tinggly’s area of expertise: unique and exciting experiences that even Lithuanians themselves might not have been aware of.

Some of Tinggly’s experiences in Vilnius include flying over the city in a hot air balloon, going back in time in a Soviet tour of the city, gourmet tours of the region’s cuisine, tasting local beers and quad driving through Lithuanian forests. However, as part of the stay at Blogger House, Tinggly will also plan custom experiences tailored to the interests and preferences of its guests.
