Global Travel Media goes full speed ahead on cruising

egtmedia59Global Travel Media’s publisher and editor in chief Stephen Morton, has announced that John Alwyn-Jones, one of Australia and the region’s most recognised and well known travel industry personalities, travel journalists and cruisespecialists, has joined Global Travel Media, as cruise editor and to undertake other editorial and partnership activities.” 

Stephen said today, “I am delighted that John has accepted our offer to join GTM, as he was with us for some time up until around a year ago, but this time he will be leading our increased activity and commitment to the vitally important global and regional cruise sector as our cruise editor and also contributing in a number of other areas.”

He added, “We already provide significant cruise coverage, but John’s appointment will significantly increasing that coverage, while also demonstrating GTM’s absolute commitment to the booming cruise sector.”

“John will also bring to GTM his in depth knowledge of cruising, providing cruise articles, news, videos and on location features, including from cruises globally and also driving exciting partnership opportunities between cruise operators and GTM.”

“In addition, John will be providing his extensive overall industry knowledge, exploring opportunities for stimulating reader discussion about contemporary or controversial issues and topics on GTM and also producing on location video and articles from destinations and a wide range of events globally.”
