The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is helping to promote the Global Wellness Day Thailand 2015, an event dedicated to health and good living, to be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre on 13 June, 2015.
Mrs. Juthaporn Rerngronasa, TAT Acting Governor and Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Europe, Africa, Middle East and Americas said, “Thailand is the ideal place to celebrate Global Wellness Day. For generations, the kingdom has been a centre of health as seen by the medical inscriptions at Wat Pho that promote the benefits of massage, to modern health and spa retreats that attract international visitors. We encourage everyone to come and discover how elements of ancient “Thainess” can improve their health.”
Global Wellness Day is an international, non-profit event established in 2012 by Turkish Spa expert Belgin Aksoy. The annual convention helps people to learn about mental and physical health, exercise, nutrition and mindfulness
via workshops, talks and activities held all over the world on the same day.

Talks will be given on “Understanding Wellness in the 21st Century – Thai style” as well as on nutrition, Thai herbs and plants for health and longevity, mindfulness, family wellbeing and cooking techniques, among many other topics.
In addition to the seminars, there will also be activities and workshops; such as, Wellness Adventure for children aged 5-10 and Muay Thai.
